Keith Davenport, Executive Director
Keith has been involved with the Miss Texas Scholarship program for 15 years. He is now in his third year as executive director of the Miss Fort Worth Scholarship Organization. He previously served on the board of the Miss Turtle Creek Area Organization, and has served as a judge for numerous local pageants and as interview coach for several contestants. He has also volunteered with several other franchises over the years. Keith is an award-winning vocalist, trumpeter and pianist.

Keith has been employed by AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless) for the past 12 years, serving as Senior Technical Director in the Information Technology division. Prior to his move to the business world, he was a high school teacher of debate, speech, theatre arts and English. He is a graduate of Baylor University and attended the University of Texas at Austin for post-graduate studies.

Keith’s philosophy of pageants is to provide an atmosphere of self-discovery for the titleholders. He can provide opinions, but it is ultimately up to the titleholder to do what she knows she must do to be a success.

He also volunteers with the Miss Longview Organization and was a wardrobe technician for Molly Hazlett en route to winning the title of Miss Texas 2007. Contestants have graced stages at the local, state and national level wearing outfits designed and created by Mr. Carter. Ron is currently a Training Project Manager at Sprint.
