Miss Fort Worth Competition
  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  • Must be born female, single, never married, have never conceived a child, and be of good character.
  • Must be a resident of the State of Texas for the past six (6) months or a student of an accredited Texas college or University for at least one (1) full semester enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours or the maximum required for the degree plan chosen.
  • Must (a) be at least seventeen (17) years of age at the time of your first appearance in the preliminary round of the local or state competition and (b) be no older than twenty-four (24) years of age on December 31, 2011.
  • Must be a High School Senior by the time of your first appearance in preliminary round of the local or state competition and can or will be able to produce a diploma as proof thereof upon request or that you have or will have successfully completed the G.E.D. testing program for high school equivalency and can or will produce proof thereof upon request or have or will have successfully completed the academic requirements for entry into a four year college/degree program.
  • If you held a Miss America local title during the 2010 pageant season and either resigned your title or lost your title for some reason, you may not be eligible to compete in a Miss America local pageant again until the 2012 pageant season. Please contact the director prior to entering.
  • You may NOT compete in a Miss Texas/Miss America preliminary pageant: If you competed at a local Miss USA pageant for their current pageant year and either won a local USA title or went on to the state USA competition as an "at large" titleholder (paid for the title) for their current pageant year. In this case, you will not be eligible to compete in a local Miss Texas pageant (Miss America) for one (1) complete pageant year.
  • Miss America has partnered with the Children's Miracle Network to develop a National Platform. Each contestant must secure a $100.00 donation in her name to the Children’s Miracle Network in order to compete in the local pageant. Click here for more details on the National Platform.
  • Contestants compete in the following categories: Interview; Swimsuit; Talent; Evening Wear; and On-stage Question.
  • Interviews will be 9 1/2 minutes long followed by an optional 30 second closing. There is no opening statement.
  • Talent performances are limited to 1 1/2 minutes (90 seconds).

Miss Teen Fort Worth Competition
  • There is a $100.00 entry fee, payable in advance, sent in with your application. Application deadline is  September 19, 2010.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States of America.
  • Must be female, single, never married, have never conceived a child, and be of good character.
  • Must be a resident of the State of Texas at least six (6) months prior to the start of the pageant.
  • Must be between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) years of age by the start of the pageant.
  • Must not be eligible to compete in a local Miss America preliminary.
  • Contestants compete in the following categories: Interview; Aerobic Wear; Talent; Evening Gown; and On-stage Question.
  • Interviews will be eight minutes long. There will not be opening or closing statements.
  • Talent performances are limited to two minutes.

 

2011 Pageant
The 2011 Miss Fort Worth and Miss Teen Fort Worth  pageant will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth.
