Miss America Information
The 2011 Miss America Pageant will be held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 11-15, 2011. Preliminary competitions will be held January 11-13 and the finals will be held on January 15. The finals will be televised live on the ABC network.

Host Hotel

  • The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is the host hotel for the 2011 Miss America Pageant.

  • The Miss America Organization has secured a block of rooms at the hotel at special rates:

    • January 9-13, 2011 - $109/night

    • January 14-15, 2011 - $159/night

    • January 16, 2011 - $109/night

  • The Miss America rate is for a single/double room. There is an additional charge of $30.00 per person for the 3rd and 4th person in the room.

  • When the reservation is processed, a charge for the first night’s room and occupancy tax will be applied to your credit card. You will receive a hotel confirmation number from the Miss America Organization.

  • Note: The Miss America Organization is solely responsible for securing hotel rooms at the special Miss America rate. This reservation form is provided simply as a courtesy. Neither the Miss Texas Organization nor the Miss Fort Worth Organization has any responsibility for hotel reservations. All questions, payments, inquiries, etc. concerning hotel reservations must be directed through the Miss America Organization.

Priority Seating (Staying at Planet Hollywood)

  • Miss America Pageant fans staying at Planet Hollywood will receive priority seating.

  • Ticket orders will be grouped by state and assigned seats in the following order:

    1. Season ticket holders staying at Planet Hollywood with a minimum of Thursday through Saturday stay

    2. Single night ticket holders staying at Planet Hollywood

    3. Season ticket holders not staying at Planet Hollywood

    4. Single night ticket holders not staying at Planet Hollywood

  • Ticket holders in the four groups identified above will not be seated together. For example, those in group 1 will not be seated by those in group 3.

  • If you wish to take advantage of the special Miss America rate at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and order priority seating tickets (season tickets or individual night tickets), click here to download and complete the Room/Ticket Form.

  • Remember to list "Texas" as the state you support in order to be seated with others in the Texas delegation.

  • Print the form and fax directly to the Miss America Organization at (609) 653-8740.

  • Reservation forms must be received by the Miss America Organization by November 22, 2010.

Other Seating (Not Staying at Planet Hollywood)

  • All tickets (season tickets or individual night tickets) for Miss America Pageant fans not staying at Planet Hollywood will be ordered through the Miss Texas Organization.

  • To simplify the ordering process, the Miss Fort Worth Organization will receive all other seating (not staying at Planet Hollywood) orders and forward to the Miss Texas Organization.

  • Click here to download and complete the Ticket Only Order Form (not staying at Planet Hollywood).

  • Forward the completed form and payment to Keith Davenport; 3883 Turtle Creek Blvd. #1817; Dallas, TX 75219-4432.

  • Keith must receive your order and payment by November 7, 2010.

  • Make checks/cashier checks/money orders payable to Miss Texas Organization.

  • Once your ticket order has been placed, you can not make changes to the order.

  • There are no refunds.

  • There is a $15.00 shipping fee (Federal Express 2-day) for each order.

Miss America Badges

  • An official badge is required in order to attend open rehearsals and visitation following each night’s competition.

  • Badges for Miss America will be ordered through the Miss Texas Organization.

  • To simplify the ordering process, the Miss Fort Worth Organization will receive all badge orders and forward to the Miss Texas Organization.

  • Forward the completed form and payment to Keith Davenport; 3883 Turtle Creek Blvd. #1817; Dallas, TX 75219-4432.

  • Keith must receive your order and payment by November 7, 2010.

  • Badges for the 2011 Miss America Pageant are $35.00 each when ordered in advance. (Badges purchased in Las Vegas during pageant week will be $50.00 each.)

  • Make checks/cashier checks/money orders payable to Miss Texas Organization.

  • Once your badge order has been placed, you can not make changes to the order.

  • There are no refunds.

  • Children under five (5) years old will not require a badge, but must be accompanied by an adult with a badge.

  • All badges require a photo. If you attended the Miss America finals in Las Vegas one of the last two years and previously ordered a badge, your photo is on file already with Miss America. If your photo is not on file, it must be submitted to Miss America before November 15, 2010.

  • When sending photos to Miss America, indicate your name and TEXAS so that it will be matched up with your order. Photos must be submitted as a JPG file by email to badge@missamerica.org.

  • Badge photos are each individual’s responsibility and should not be sent to the Miss Texas Organization. If you wait and have your picture taken in Las Vegas, the cost will be $50.00 per badge.
