Competition for Miss Fort Worth 2009, Miss Teen Fort Worth 2009, and Miss North Texas 2009 was held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth, Texas. At the conclusion of the pageant, Faith Bates was selected from eight competitors as Miss Fort Worth 2009 and Kristen Blair was selected as Miss North Texas 2009. Kaitlyn Wilson was selected from three competitors as Miss Teen Fort Worth 2009. All three winners will represent Fort Worth at the state competitions in Fort Worth in July.

Faith attends the University of Oklahoma. Her platform is Pediatric Cancer Awareness: Cinderella Society. She sang Time to Say Goodbye and was also the Physical Fitness in Swim Wear winner. Kristen attends the University of North Texas. Her platform is The Extra-Curricular Advantage. She sang Vissi D'arte and was also the Talent winner. Kaitlyn attends Martin High School. Her platform is VIP—Volunteers in Progress. She sang Breaking Up Is Hard to Do and won both Physical Fitness in Aerobic Wear and Talent.

1st Runner-up to Miss Fort Worth was Selina Affram. 1st Runner-up to Miss North Texas was Keene Nordin. 2nd Runner-up was Nicole Miner. 1st Runner-up to Miss Teen Fort Worth was Sterling Bishop. 2nd Runner-up was Maya Cole. Also competing in the Miss competition were Kristen Garcia, Julie Lightfoot, and  Kira Morris.
